The Southern Illinois Rod Benders were founded in January 2008 as an alternative to the modern formalized car clubs that we all had become disenchanted with. We founded a group based on friendship, love of cars, cruising, and just hanging out together. We have no officers, dues, scheduled meetings, or events, just a common interest; cars. Our purpose is to cruise together, support and encourage each other on our projects, and enjoy fellowship nothing more. Anyone is welcome to cruise with us, park with us and share our fellowship but membership is by invitation only.
